Here are some of the key programs we worked on last year: - Program 1: Invasive species education and outreach: blue ridge prism, inc. educates partners, landowners, and those in the conservation community on identification, reporting, and controlling invasive plants during various seasons of the year. prism also participates as a partner/instructor in land management workshops for conservation professionals and private landowners. - Program 2: Invasive plant control: blue ridge prism assists public agencies and private landowners in the control of specific invasive plants. - Program 3: Virginia invasive plant coalition (a project of blue ridge prism): key organizer in the creation of the virginia invasive plant coalition, a coalition of 70+ organizations from across virginia committed to the removal of invasive plants from virginia's landscapes.
